Jaguar Security Services is well known for our good trained and educated Staff. All our hand picked officers have visited the High school and got a intense In house training. We also offer this training to external security officers.

All our officers have a carrier plan, and we help them to educate and develop. Together with our benefits and Social Program, Jaguar Security Services really take care for the employees there families and our customers.



Security Officer Basic Training

Are you interested in finding a career in the security field as an unarmed security guard or would you like to enhance your present job skills and earn a JSS certification? Security officer basic training will prepare new security officers and experienced employees for employment with a certified security company under the Private Security and Investigation Service Act. This course covers the security code of ethics, public and human relations, fire and accident prevention, patrol procedures, liabilities, report writing, use of force, fire and safety equipment, and search and seizure procedures.



Security Officer Firearm Training

If you have completed the basic security officer course, you may be ready to gain employment as an armed security guard. As mandated by the Jaguar Security Services (JSS) Ltd. you will learn the legal use of firearms, liability while armed, take a firearms safety test, and qualify at a firing range.


JSS Education Blocks

This knowledge block education programm, will be held on addition to the Basic Training on a monthly basis. The following topics are already planned.


Private Security in Today's World   
This education block describes the fundamental reasons why security services are so critical to today's world. Upon completion of this unit you will be able to:

  • Define the point in history that security services began to develop.
  • List the basic human needs that are met by security services.
  • Identify the primary objectives of the private security function.
  • Define the scope of services provided by JSS security officers.
  • Understand the expanding opportunities for security work in today's world.


The Role of Private Security Services
This education block describes the role of private security services in protecting assets and preventing losses. Upon completion of this unit, you will be able to:

  • Describe the differences between the role of private
    security and public law enforcement.
  • Explain the need for private security work.
  • Identify the three primary security functions.
  • Define the duties performed by security officers.
  • Describe the impact of security officer on protecting
    assets and preventing losses.


The JSS Security Officer   
This education block defines how professional security officers are the first line of defense in protecting assets and preventing losses. It is imperative that security officers meet professional standards in the workplace. Upon completion of this unit, you will be able to:

  • Explain the concept of professional integrity.
  • Maintain a professional appearance in the workplace.
  • Conduct yourself in a professional manner in the workplace.
  • Understand how professional ethics impact every aspect of
    your behavior in the workplace.
  • Use professional problem solving techniques in the workplace.
  • To write a proper jounal or report.


Defensive Tactics and Self-Defense
This education block is about Self-Defense Technique, Control Tactics, Conflict Management and also about the use of the Baton. Upon completion of this unit, you will be able to:

  • To recognize a conflict situation
  • To control a conflict situation
  • To defend your self
  • To use the Baton


JSS Patrol   
Patrol is the foundation of security services. This education block describes the functions of patrol for security officers. Upon completion of this unit, you will be able to:

  • Accurately define the purpose of patrol.
  • Differentiate between internal and external patrol.
  • Understand the importance of ensuring that all equipment is in
    good operating condition at the beginning of each shift.
  • Perform both inspections and surveillance.
  • Appropriately respond to emergencies and other
    unexpected situations. 


Disaster Preparedness   
In this education block you will become familiar with the definitions of disaster versus an emergency. The working with NEMO and the organization of the emergency services will be discussed, as well as the disaster workers who make up the response workforce.


Fire Safety   
This education block covers fire chemistry, fire hazards and fire suppression. In addition, the material addresses the different types of portable fire extinguishers and how to operate them. Upon completion of this unit, you will be able to:

  • Apply the basics of fire chemistry.
  • Identify the various types of fire extinguishers.
  • Decide whether or ot to attempt to put out a fire.
  • List the steps to use a fire extinguisher properly.
  • Identify simple activities that will prevent fires.


First Aid for Security Officers
First Aid, CPR, Triage and Treating Life Threatening Injuries. This class also covers how to recognize and treat an airway obstruction, bleeding, and shock. In addition the principles of triage and how to conduct triage evaluations are discussed. This training unit will be held by external partner.



Effects of Alcohol and Drugs
Law enforcement officers and security guards frequently encounter people who are either intoxicated or otherwise affected by drinking alcohol. By completing this unit you will be able to:

  • Identify behavior, mood and judgment changes
    observed at varying blood alcohol levels.
  • State the hourly metabolism rate of alcohol by the body.
  • List the physical factors that affect the level of alcohol intoxication.
  • List the situational factors that affect the level of alcohol intoxication.
  • Identify the primary impacts of alcohol abuse and dependence.


Physical Security
This class is an introduction for JSS Senior Security Officers to physical security measures: barriers, fencing, lighting, intrusion detection systems, and locks. Upon successful completion of this unit, the JSS Senior Officer will be able to:

  • Discuss the five functions of barriers.
  • Select effective fencing designs.
  • Identify the appropriate type of lighting to
    meet security requirements.
  • Define the purpose of each sensor category.
  • Identify the correct type of lock to meet security requirements.
